Kristen Baker

Director of Housing Stability Services

Kristen Baker joined New Destiny in January 2023 where she leads the Resource Coordination team as well as developing and overseeing the Financial Coaching and Health & Wellness Coaching programs. Prior to joining New Destiny, Kristen has worked in economic empowerment, homelessness prevention and fair housing. She is passionate about social justice including intersectional feminism and queer issues. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purchase College, SUNY and a Master of Social Work from Lehman College, CUNY. She has a rescue cat named Winston and in her free time she enjoys hiking and trying new recipes.
