Wren has worked in the human services field for nearly 20 years in fundraising, development, and communications roles for health care, housing, mental health services, and early childhood education for organizations including Planned Parenthood of the Mid-Hudson Valley, Housing and Services, Inc., and the Supportive Housing Network of New York. She is the former Deputy Director of the Center on Media, Crime and Justice at John Jay College. Wren served on the Beacon City Council from January 2021-December 2023.
Wren grew up in Conyers, Georgia, a 2nd-generation Filipino on her father’s side. She is a mother of two children at home. She obtained a BFA from the DePaul Theater School in Chicago and studied Urban Policy and Analysis at the New School.
