Join New Destiny’s Rising Leaders Council! This is a dynamic volunteer opportunity for young professionals in the greater NYC area with an interest in event planning, fundraising, and community‑building. As ambassadors, members grow support for survivors of domestic violence while gaining hands-on leadership experience and building meaningful connections. Want to be part of a community that makes a real impact?
The RLC is seeking for young professionals in the first decade of their career. New Destiny will reach out to applicants to schedule an interview for the position. We ask that members commit to at least a year-long membership and 3-4 hours a month to the Council.

In partnership with the New Destiny staff, the Rising Leaders Council will work to raise $20,000 in the first year of its term. Council members will have the opportunity to engage in monthly in-person meetings; strategize, plan, and attend fundraising gatherings and outings; and utilize their professional, social, and community networks to raise these funds. Members will also have the opportunity to learn about non-profit fundraising and operations and engage in professional development trainings.
