Gina Cappuccitti

Director of Housing Access

Gina has been with New Destiny since 2018 and has played a key role in the expansion of housing search services the organization offers to survivors. She currently oversees housing search services and landlord engagement efforts for two HUD-funded rapid-rehousing programs and our Emergency Housing Voucher Housing Navigation Program, as well as technical assistance and training services provided to clients and advocates through the NYC Family Justice Centers. Gina is currently the co-chair of the NYC Continuum of Care Domestic Violence Committee and previously served as co-chair of the NYC Continuum of Care Domestic Violence Rapid-Rehousing Workgroup. Prior to joining New Destiny, Gina also worked as a financial coach at a nonprofit where she provided financial coaching services primarily to immigrants and survivors of domestic violence. Gina holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from SUNY New Paltz and spent several years working in international development throughout Latin America and the Caribbean prior to returning to New York.
