Isa Martinez-McDonald
Family Support Program, Regional Director – Bronx
Isa has worked in the domestic violence advocacy community for over 25 years. She joined New Destiny in 2013. As Regional Director for the Bronx & New Rochelle, Isa oversees the on-site supportive services for tenants, the Family Support Program, in New Destiny’s buildings in the Bronx and New Rochelle. Previously, Isa worked at Barrier Free Living, where she served as Director of Freedom House, an emergency shelter for domestic violence survivors with disabilities. Before that she was the Department Director of Homeless Services at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and the Bronx Non-Residential Project Director at Sanctuary for Families, one of New York City’s largest providers of services to domestic violence survivors. Isa is a Licensed Social Worker. She has a B.S. from York College of New York; a master’s degree in social work from New York University; and a Post master’s Certificate in Administration from Hunter College.
