Jonathan Samon

Jonathan is First Vice President, Managing Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer at Apple Bank, where he leads the Apple Bank Privacy Office that, among other things, is dedicated to ensuring data privacy consistent with regulatory requirements and customer expectations. He also supervises the Vendor Contract Legal Review team and the Legal Process Department within the Apple Bank Legal Department. Prior to this role, he served for three years as General Counsel of a fintech company and spent over a dozen years in private legal practice in New York.

Jonathan received a B.S. in Economics from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA, and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, NJ. He is an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall, a frequent marathoner (and proud member of the 50 States Marathon Club), an avid reader, and striver for fluency in Portuguese. He resides in Manhattan with his wife and son.
