Lane Addonizio

Lane has served on the Board of New Destiny Housing since 2003. An urban planner and historian with expertise in parks / public space and community engagement, Lane served as the principal planner on the capital projects team at the Central Park Conservancy for twenty years before starting her practice as an independent consultant. At the Conservancy, she oversaw analysis and research for park-wide planning and collaborated with the Chief Landscape Architect on the development and management of Central Park’s restoration and reconstruction work.  

Her professional experience prior to joining the Conservancy includes community-based public space projects at Cityscape Institute in New York, and campus planning for Harvard University’s planning and real estate division. Lane earned her M.A. in Urban Planning from Cornell University and her B.A. in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard.
