Nicole Firment serves as the chair of the Board of Directors for New Destiny Housing Corporation and is committed to helping end the cycle of domestic violence through development of permanent and affordable supportive housing. With nearly 20 years of corporate finance and risk management experience, Nicole is honored to bring her skills to support the organization’s important mission.
Nicole is the Senior Director of Scenario Design, Stress Testing, and Resolution Planning at Freddie Mac, a government-sponsored enterprise whose goal is to ‘make home possible.’ During her career she has also held finance and risk management roles at Barclays, AIG, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She earned a Master of Arts in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School for Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts from the Catholic University of America in Politics and Spanish.
A resident of the greater New York City area for over 10 years, Nicole enjoys going on local and international adventures with her husband and daughter and learning more about the diverse world we live in. She is deeply committed to helping create safe, stable housing for domestic violence survivors and is grateful to work alongside New Destiny in this vital effort.
