This initiative offers young professionals in the greater New York area an opportunity to make a significant impact through fundraising, networking, and engagement. Volunteers will engage a new generation of supporters and build a community of like-minded individuals with the common goals of raising funds to support formerly homeless survivors of domestic violence, becoming ambassadors of New Destiny and championing its mission, and joining a group of young professionals looking to create change in their communities.

ABOUT
In partnership with the New Destiny staff, the Rising Leaders Council will work to raise $20,000 in the first year of its term. Council members will have the opportunity to engage in monthly in-person meetings; strategize, plan, and attend fundraising gatherings and outings; and utilize their professional, social, and community networks to raise these funds. Members will also have the opportunity to learn about non-profit fundraising and operations and engage in professional development trainings.
The RLC is seeking for young professionals in the first decade of their career. New Destiny will reach out to applicants to schedule an interview for the position. We ask that members commit to at least a year-long membership and at least 2 hours a month to the Council.
